Vice President, Business Development North America

As Vice President of Business Development North America, Mark provides overall strategic leadership within Allan Candy’s Sales and Marketing functions. In his role he is responsible for the strategy and direction of Allan Candy’s sales operations across the company’s diverse product lines. He oversees the company’s corporate positioning, branding and identity, and customer engagement marketing to ensure strong connections with customers and consumers.

Mark previously served at Cadbury Adams Canada Ltd. where he worked on the highly successful divestiture of the Allan Candy business.

Mark is a seasoned Sales leader, having started his career in Sales with the Adams Division of Warner-Lambert Canada in 1986. Since that time, Mark has held progressively more senior leadership roles within the Adams sales organization through its acquisition by Cadbury Schweppes in 2003. While at Cadbury Adams, Mark was an integral member of the Sales Leadership team where he was individually responsible for the development of the retail sales organization and route-to-market structure.

In 2004, Mark transitioned into Cadbury’s Project Management Office where he played a key role in a number of strategic initiatives, most notably the highly successful Canadian Business Transformation. During his tenure on the Transformation Team, Mark led the Customer and Sales Operations Track, which aligned sales practices, policies and terms, and operationally separated the Allan Candy division.
